#218 ALBERT WATSON ON JAGGER, HITCHCOCK & PASSION

Albert Watson, OBE is our guest. It's a story of moving from Scotland to America, to the bright lights of LA, which must have been very dazzling and exciting for a young photographer loaded with creative ideas, ready to take on the photographic world. We talk about first breaks, self belief, the fashion industry and some of his most famous portraits with Kate Moss, Hitchcock and the dead Goose, plus Mick Jagger morphed with a Leopard!

Patron of the Day today is Johan Otterdahl Edfeldt, his site is the work of a portrait, lifestyle and fine art photographer. Johan is a committed van-lifer and we’ve talked about how and why he does that within the Patreon feed. He has some thoughts about why we choose photography as a lifestyle itself and that’s a word used much today in the edition, passion. To use Johan’s words; “My passion has always controlled my life and dreams. Even if it has been a crazy journey with no straight lines or rules, it has shaped me. I believe everyone should have at least one passion. Something you dream about, something that gets a glow in your eyes and fuel for your soul.”
