#268 PHOTOWALK: POLAROID PORTRAITS OF THE STARS, VAN-LIFING, MUSHROOMS & OTHER STORIES
We're by the sea again this week walking together on Brighton's famous pebbled beach with your mailbag letters, talking with Hugo Huerta Marin a multi disciplinary artist who makes Polaroid portraits with international trailblazing women, Dave Williams; a photographer who's said, "&*%$ this, I'm going on a photo adventure in my van" and making beach portraits with swimmers who brave the 'icy' Brighton sea waters daily. Also, how a mushroom changed one photographer's life forever, the beauty of 'random' and light in street work, Photocycles and 'forbidden pictures'. The show is supported by our Patrons; and see Patron of the Week Paul Vallier’s work below.
I am in Brighton today on our Photowalk because I’m also recording an MPB.com special. MPB is the number one platform in the UK, US and Europe when it comes to buying, trading or selling quality used kit online. I’ve now been to their Brighton warehouse and I’ve seen exactly how much the team care about the kit you send to be sold and the kit they pack up to send to YOU when you buy. I use MPB myself, so I was keen to see just how detailed they are when they grade kit, how they prep it for coming out so that you can CHANGE kit when you need to create. It’s all going into a Wednesday MPB special with a special guest atop coming out in a few weeks time.
