FEATURING NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC PHOTOGRAPHER JASON EDWARDS
A special feature-length interview episode today featuring Jason Edwards. And the photo editors at National Geographic agree, featuring his stunning photos time and time again. His imagery has also appeared in hundreds of other publications, including BBC Wildlife, Australian Geographic and The New Yorker. His new book, Icebergs to Iguanas features a collection of his National Geographic photographs and behind-the-scenes tales. Also on the show today, the winning images from the last two months of assignment pictures and a new challenge for September set by Gary Williams.

The inspiration for a photo book can come from anything. For photographer Joe Madsen, it was cholesterol. When his doctor told him his cholesterol was too high he decided to eat better and walk more. But he needed extra motivation, so Joe brought his camera with him. Bloodwork is the visual story of how an effort to make his body better led to a better body of work.
Sir David Frederick Attenborough is a British broadcaster, biologist, natural historian, and writer.
Hans Johnson’s episode titled ‘The Soundtrack for Hope and Peace’.
