British editorial shooter Alex Ingram launched his business proper in 2019, just months away from this world 'shut down' and I thought it may be interesting to hear a story from a photographer who started, endured and continues to build his reputation during this challenging period. It’s a story today about the personal project, and how a single idea can turn your fortunes, be that portraits, Sunday league soccer or Morris dancers!

There’s fabulous simplicity to much of your work on the home page Dennis. Geometry, simplicity, humour; I’m left feeling I’m in the hands of a photographer who could tackle anything I should throw at him. Not simply a safe pair of hands, no, but creatively thoughtful and life experienced. And I love the INK project too.
