#19 STREET PHOTOGRAPHY SAVED MY LIFE

The title may sound dramatic, but as you’ll hear in the show today, street shooting was a pastime that has become a change of occupation and life for former Canadian paramedic, Ian MacDonald who believes this genre was the change of direction his mind drastically required to recover from the devastating mental affects PTSD was having on him and by extension his family.

Also today, what IS street photography, the second in the a two parter following on from episode 15 with Nick Turpin, who has breathed new life into the iN-PUBLiC project, building on, quote: “It’s history as a platform for the most interesting and innovative documentary photography from the public realm.”
