The dramatic scenery surrounding the Afon Hepste in South Wales. The area will possibly be well known to many of your UK subscribers. It’s a protected area known by many as Waterfall Country. The Hepste is one of four rivers whose source is the lower slopes of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Powys. It’s a beautiful area all year round but can be a bit treacherous in wet conditions with many steep slopes and ravines. Good walking boots are highly recommended. The picture was taken with a monochrome output in mind.
