365:181 MATHIEU CHAUVEAU

I'm a psychiatric nurse and part-time documentary family photographer here in Lyon, France. My inspiration takes its roots in people, and yet it took me a while to figure out that the pictures that moved me most, especially when walking around town, all contained some kind of human element. I have to thank Dennis Schauer for opening my eyes to this. My job and family leave me little room for long photowalks, but I always carry my trusty X-E3 paired with either a 23mm or 35mm, hunting for something that will catch my eye. This is a picture of my daughter Tim looking at the sea on our way to Corsica. One of my favourite pictures of the year, for obvious fatherly reasons. Somewhere on the Mediterranean Sea.
