365:75 PER BIRKHAUG

Thought I'd send in yet another picture for the Community 365. In a way I think of it as representing transitions. Transitions in nature in particular, but I suppose any transition in a sense. Transitions are quite a dynamic phenomenon, but every so often we don't actually see any activity, but we do notice something changing. This picture is from a photohike (what's the difference between a photowalk and a photohike? Both include walking...?) I did this weekend in the mountain range of Filefjell in ‘Norwayland’. We have a cabin there and I enjoy hiking in the mountains. This particular area is one I visit through the seasons, and coming to this scenery made me think of previous times this year when the scenery was the same, but still very different. I suppose I should have included some shots from previous times this year, but I actually don't have any from the same viewpoint. I think the transition in this particular image is from autumn to winter: it's no longer autumn, but not yet winter (winter in this area looks very different). So that transition between those two that hasn't actually got a name.
