365:186 PER BIRKHAUG

I thought it was time for a 365 again. This time it's a picture of our dog, Mira. She's a Eurasian. Two years old now, almost. She's a lovely dog, lots of personality, can be quite stubborn, and is seemingly very protective of her (and our) ‘domain’. Strangers are welcomed by fierce barking in a very low tone, clearly to let them know that they had better tread carefully. But out walking, she couldn't care less about strangers. We do try to teach her to be more docile towards strangers ringing the doorbell and such, but haven't been successful yet. I suspect that may be because we secretly like her being protective. Yesterday was a real foul weather day here in Bergen, and large parts of Norwayland for that matter. So bad that I opted not to take a camera when I took Mira for a walk. I'm afraid it wouldn't have survived. Instead of acquiring more pictures, I decided to make something out of some of the plentitude that already resides on my NAS. The enclosed picture is part of the result of yesterday's work. The picture was taken in October last year, on a really nice day in close vicinity to our cabin at Filefjell.
