365:167 PER BIRKHAUG

Between work and foul weather, it's been difficult to find good opportunities to photograph lately. Actually tried last Saturday and almost drowned a camera. Managed to rescue it though. So I've resorted to looking through the archives at pictures not yet seen publicly. I have a certain liking to street photography but am also a bit intimidated by it (btw could totally relate to whomever on the podcast who said that it appears easier to take pictures on the street of strangers when you're abroad or otherwise not in your hometown, whilst trying to do the same in your hometown provokes a certain amount of anxiety). Some years ago I had the pleasure of accompanying our youngest daughter to and from her singing classes. That also brought opportunities for street photos, even if my skills at it left (and still leaves) plenty of room for improvement. The enclosed photo is one I took back in 2017 I think it must have been.
