365:252 JOHN MILLAR

I refer to as my "M1 Tree" for the community 365. My submission is inspired by the episode of Photography Daily when you were talking to Ondrej and the situation in Ukraine. The colours in the picture sort of lean-to where I'm going here. Anyway, the M1 tree is a tree I see on a hilltop heading North on the M1 not far from Hardwick Hall. I have been photographing it for some time and when passing that way always pay it a visit (after figuring out the best way to get to it on the first visit I made there).

I passed it on Wednesday, had no time to stop, but knew I'd be that way again the next day and would hopefully get what I was hoping for. It stood out particularly well as it had glorious yellow rapeseed crops in the foreground. This was topped off with a lovely blue sky with just a few fluffy clouds to break up the negative space a little. I also did an image of just the rapeseed and sky without clouds as the colours were the same as the Ukrainian flag, and it felt like my own little photographic homage to Ukraine.
