365:285 ANDREW WHITE
This image was taken at a unique place on the Wirral called Meols. The beach has these shallow channels and when the tide is receding, it gives the opportunity of creating a long exposure of the boats that sometimes moor in them. This particular boat stood out to me because of the way the anchor chain had settled in the sand, creating a perfect foreground and leading line. I do like to edit my images and in this one I’ve removed the horizon to create the infinity look which allows the viewer to focus solely on the subject.
