365:270 WALLACE SHACKLETON

Up and out at stupid o'Clock with the dog on The Moss, which is a SSSI (site of special scientific interest) due to it being a rare survivor of a raised peat bog, being some ten feet above ground level. The Woodland Trust who manage the site made an effort to reduce the water usage by felling some non-native trees on the bog and hence encourage the bog to get boggier and create more peat. Things finally "clicked" with the Fuji in-camera multiple exposure settings, which allowed me to say, "There was once a tree here..." I just hate seeing mature trees cut down.
