#78 PREVIEW: END OF THE PIER SHOW MEMBER SPECIAL

Welcome to a dramatised preview of the Access All Areas weekend special; The End of the Pier Show. Members will hear the whole episode, but if you’re not a member, don’t worry, you’ll still hear an element, though a truncated one.

Today, a story about a designer and photographer who had an idea to photograph a set of structures as iconic to British summer holidays as Punch and Judy, fish n chips and knotted handkerchiefs instead of hats.

Also today, why personal projects are so important to us as photographers, how this one was made, why it was made, and what difference it truly has made to his life. What started as an idea has become a true legacy piece where some of the subjects have since been claimed by natural and man made disaster.
