#32 FRIDAY PHOTOWALK: PROTESTS, TUNNELLERS & SNAILS?

A strange start to this morning's usually serene photowalk show concept. I'm by a road. A bypass in southern England. A busy, noisy, unrelenting bypass. A bypass that was completed before the turn of a new century, so it’s not exactly new. Why? Well, I’m going to retrace some steps with you by my side into the countryside and talk about an unusual documented English battle; the 3rd Battle of Newbury where tree protesters, tunnellers and a snail almost brought a planned £75M project to its knees.

The idea behind the Friday Photowalk is for a slightly longer episode winding down into the weekend where we take our cameras and take some time to discover what is around us in the world and more specifically for me right now, what is on my doorstep.

If you’d like to join me on one of these photowalks, travel permitting of course, please reach out and hopefully we’ll get to spend some time just shooting some pictures and telling the stories of where we are.
