#42 FRIDAY PHOTOWALK: ‘THE TRAGEDY’

Today's Photowalk Edition is a story of a highwayman, the quaintly 'disturbing' morris dancing tradition, my fight with a Persian rug and a modern tragedy that is only spoken of, in hushed tones. We also look forward to the weekend's first Focus edition.

So, it’s Friday again, so soon? Our walk together this week takes us mainly on a meander across Hungerford Common to the east of the town; 220 acres available, we’ll take in a much smaller amount of that wide open space, it being only a half hour episode. I’m taking with me a collection of the emails you have sent in and as ever if you want to send your thoughts, then studio@photographydaily.show is the address to send your mails to.

I’ll also expand a little more on the history of this beautiful market town and though the place has a dark historic tone, with the shade comes the light, and I’m pleased to share some of my personal experiences of this ‘dormitory’ town, a term which means there’s more residential property than coffee shops. Though antique shops may give housing a run for its money!

As ever and certainly not claiming to be any great landscape artist, a collection of some ‘snaps’ from the walk, wrestling a clipboard and sound recorder in one hand, and X100F in the other.
