#270 PHOTOWALK: NATIONAL GEO’S BEST PICS! & THE EXTRAORDINARY TOM STODDART

This week we're walking in Sherwood Forest, the legendary woodland where Robin Hood was said to take money from the rich to give to the poor, making our pictures together and reading listener letters on our weekly photowalk together. National Geographic's Editor in Chief Susan Goldberg is my guest and we also celebrate Tom Stoddart, the British photojournalist who passed away last week. Your letters include making photographs to celebrate a win over adversity, making ultra long exposure pictures from a tin can, Christmas in Copenhagen and dream photo retirements.

We’re supported by MPB.com, the number one platform in the UK, US and Europe (with bases in Brighton, Brooklyn and Berlin) when it comes to buying, trading or selling quality used kit online. They help photographers like you to tell your unique stories by giving you a safe place to buy, trade and sell the kit you need and in doing so, you’re a part of sustainable circular economy. Sell the kit you’re not using, trade it in for the kit you need to create. Buy used, spend less and get more. Go to MPB.com and… Buy. Sell. Trade. Create.

Our Patrons too are so precious with your generous and thoughtful help to keep the show ticking. From the price of one high street coffee per month YOU are helping to build this show so that it can continue in its mission to become a super diverse community of photographers from every interest, helping to guide, support and mentor photographers worldwide. Our Patron of the week is Joe Harding. See his Flickr Photostream or follow @JoeHarding on the GlassApp.
