365:99 HELEN FENNELL

This shot is a part of my “Scenes From a Commute” series. I started the project when I returned to commuting after a long break of nearly seven years of working from home. I now have a 40 minute walk each way to the station each day, and use the time to snap things as I go. I’m finding it rather liberating, I use a small compact camera or my phone, and just practise ‘seeing’, with no expectation of taking anything worthy or good. This shot of reflections in a car was taken on my morning walk to catch the train, and I just loved the colours.
