365:100 PHILIP OSMOND

I have been holding back sending anything for this project due to feeling my images are just snap shots. There are some stunning images from some really talented photographers on display. Anyway I went for a walk around our town of St Neots in Cambridgeshire last week with my trusty X100V. I have always walked past this old house and never really taken much notice of it, but the way the light hit it made me stop and look. I am intrigued as to who owns it, how did it fall into such disrepair. I rather like this photo, so neck on the block here it is.

See more of Philip’s work on his Instagram.

(Note from Neale: Well I am for one, pleased you sent this. Adore the texture. It has that magically Potteresque feel to the image too, something about the abandonment of this building that is as you say very intriguing. We’ve been talking of late on the show about imposter syndrome and the confidence gap that I think we all suffer as creatives and photographers - indeed, we’ll be concentrating upon it on Friday’s Photowalk this week. I’m proudly going to use this as the 100 marker on the feature and I certainly hope you’ll send more.)
