365:102 IAN STRONGHILL

Having relocated to the Wirral peninsula recently and now the chaos of moving home has settled down a little, I have found some time to explore my new local areas. I visited the old boatyard (or should that be boat cemetery?) at Heswall at sunset and found this dilapidated boat laying in the mud of the river estuary. Her hull was filled with mud and the plants that grow in this environment had taken up home there. I wondered when she was last on the water and why was she left here to never sail again.
