I live in central Copenhagen and my morning run takes me past The Little Mermaid statue. During the day the place will be crowded, but in the morning hours she is sitting there, all alone, watching the historical and industrial skyline across the harbour. I always bring my iPhone on my runs, hoping the light will be good. This time of the year my running routine correlates with the sunrise and sometimes the light is not just good – it is magic.
