365:104 MALI DAVIES

This image was taken in Yorkshire, I know a Lancastrian in enemy territory, I went early under cover of the darkness to a place called Southerscales, 42 hectares of clints and grykes. What are they? They are the Limestone pavements you have to cross to photograph these glorious hardy trees. Ash trees fighting for their lives to grow from the cracks of a million years of history. This particular image was a moment, the briefest of moments in a storm of constant rain. The sun, light, excitement, camera ready, dropped to my knees and tweaked my body left and right to invent the leading line forwards to these glorious weathered friends. This image is called: Southerscales, the death of a GoPro!
