365:67 ROBERT SQUIRE

In keeping with my backyard creatures theme, here's another. A little while back, before we knew better, my wife and I would spread corn on the ground just beyond our fence for the deer. They got so accustomed to us feeding them that they'd walk parallel to me while I went to the shed to get the grain and trowel I used to spread it. This little fawn was a bit more timid than the adults but just as keen to get the snacks She's kept a watchful eye on me while she crept closer. I got really lucky when she paused in a ray of light coming through the trees.
