365:44 MAURICE WEBSTER

In the words of a TV show from yesteryear; “And now for something completely different”. Rather than endure the Covid-related hassles currently associated with overseas travel, like so many others we elected to stay in the UK this year. It seemed a perfect opportunity to visit my sister and brother in law who have recently retired and relocated to Moray, Scotland. Knowing that photo opportunities would mainly be landscape and seascape I packed the X-Pro3 and assorted lenses. However, as is always the way, I could not leave the Leica Monochrom at home, just in case!

A stunning area presented countless opportunities for me to develop my landscape skills and whilst street/documentary remain my preferred genre it was good to try something different. I was also pleased that inspired by Don McCullin's fabulous moody landscape photos, the Monochrom did get an airing!

This 365 is my poor mans attempt to emulate his style.
